Russia Ukraine conflict - What is happening now

Website: www.forerunner.com A summary of what has happened in the Russia Ukraine conflict in the past two months. WESTERN UNIVERSALISM is the cause of the dominant division in the world. The following sentence could be understood as the central thesis of Samuel P. Huntington's book, The Clash of Civilizations. Published in 1996, it is strikingly prophetic. Sola Scriptura Part 4: The Canon was received not decided!
Просмотров 827 месяцев назад
This deals with the objection that the New Testament itself has no list of canonical books. "Therefore, Sola Scriptura is false." So goes the claim. This deals with transmission. Did the Church Fathers decide on the canon or were the inspired books received from the time of the first century without interruption in their pedigree? Are we opening ourselves to liberal apostasy if we accept a late...

People disparaging what Mr Sproul so accurate and succinctly has said are two kind of people: 1. Those lack of biblical understanding and living in spiritual dichotomy, which their pride blind them to the real issue. 2. Those that understand God sovereignty, but can't and won't allow the God of the Holy Bible take control of their life.

Coming out of JW teachings and the work based view of salvation it seems clear to me that free will is just another take of God on our own terms. Free will is man wanting to have a say over salvation because if God alone decides it make man feel less than God. People interpret that feeling into injustice making God seem wrong for deciding if we are saved instead of us deciding. God owes no one salvation and can not be wrong in deciding who receives it. We have to trust that God is good and his wisdom is above ours when we read scriptures that clearly show we do not have free will. I take comfort knowing God’s will for my life is sovereign over my own because my will is woefully imperfect. Whether I am condemned or saved it is God’s choice and oddly that comforts me because his will is perfect.

Calvin, about 8 to 10 years after Michael Servetus was burnt at the stake, said something in the line of "good thing this heretic was burnt"... So... to me, Calvin was clearly a bad tree... nothing good comes out of a bad tree... the Holy Spirit should have produced a repentance over the Servetus events...

Our free will is limited in many ways. None of us chose our our parents, their religion or lack thereof, our nationality, our physical and mental health, M or F, etc. etc. etc., all of which affect our decisions including the most important one. Joseph didn't choose the events that led to his becoming second in command in Egypt. Jonah's travel plans were altered. And so on. With God's it's different: "My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish _all_ my purpose" (Isaiah 46:10). God wants everyone to be saved and go to heaven, BTW (Luke 19:10, John 17:2, 1 Timothy 2:3-6). God is all-wise. Like a chess master who plays against a novice, He doesn’t force any of the novice's moves, but He always wins. It will usually take longer than a lifetime, but God will search for the hundredth (lost) sheep UNTIL he finds it. Here's who God chooses: " *God* has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all. … From him and through him and to him are all things." (Romans 11:32,36a). "For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, *but because of him who subjected it,* in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God." (Romans 8:20-21). --------------- Also see John 12:32, Rom. 5:18-19, 8:19-21, 11:32,36, 14:11, 1 Cor. 15:22,28, Eph. 1:10, Phil. 2:10-11, 3:21, Col. 1:20, 1 Tim. 4:10, Titus 2:11, 1 Pet. 4:6, 1 John 2:2, 4:14, Rev. 5:13, 15:4, 21:5,24-25, 22:2, combination of (Rev. 22:1,14-15,17a,17c), Psalm 22:27,29, 65:2-3, 145:10a, Isa. 25:6-8, 45:22-25, 57:16, Lam. 3:22,31, Ezek. 16:53,55, Mal. 3:2-3, The Total Victory of Christ videos.

WHAT IF WE DIE BELIEVING A FALSE GOSPEL? The Bible and specifically our Apostle Paul tells us the answer to that question. We find the answer in the gospel of the grace of God recorded in I Corinthians 15:1-4. I Corinthians 15:1-4 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Our Apostle Paul tells us that WE ARE SAVED when we believe that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures. In II Corinthians 5:21 we are told that God made Christ to be sin for us. II Corinthians 5:21 - For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. This gospel is easy to understand and very straightforward. We only have to believe that the God that spoke this world into existence gave His life for us, He was buried and that He rose on the third day. This seems like a very easy choice. Doesn’t it? Let's look back to a time where a couple of other people also had a very easy choice to make. Let’s call them Adam and Eve. Let’s say that they lived in the best place on earth. Let’s say that they could live with God forever. Let’s say that they would never get old, sick or die. We all remember Adam and Eve and the choice that they made. Would they have made the right choice if God had written the instructions that they needed on a piece of paper and they could carry that piece of paper everywhere that they went? Well, guess what? God has written down the instructions that we need to follow in order to inherit eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is called the Bible, and we can carry it everywhere we go. If we follow the instructions in the Bible, we can live in the best place imaginable. We can be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forever and we will never get old, sick or die. Have you made the decision to believe God and follow His written instructions, so that you will become a child of God forever? God doesn’t make mistakes. When He adopts you as His child, it is a forever adoption. Yet, some of us question God and His promises. Now you may ask yourself what Satan is up to these days. That is an easy answer. Satan is not hanging around in the obvious places where everyone goes to sin. Those places are on autopilot aka auto-Satan. No, Satan hangs out at the places where people feel safe, and they go to in order to feel closer to God. No, I’m not talking about your “prayer closet” or on your knees beside your bed at night praying to God. No, I’m talking about… …places where false gospels are preached. These are places where people are fooled by Satan into believing an adulterated gospel and thus believe in vain. Do you remember Adam and Eve? A little bit of Satan goes a long way. I have made a decision to learn from Adam's and Eve’s mistake. I will follow and believe God’s word that He has given to me. Call me wise if you want to. I’ll just call myself a saved and blessed child of God.

What saith the Scripture? Certainly not what Mr. Sproul says here. I am so glad i dont have to twist scriptures to explain my false beliefs. 1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. He paid the price for sin singular, and sins, plural. watch soteriology101 on youtube for many great videos explaining the fallacy of calvinism.

This man didn't understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He didn't preach good news. It's not good news that you can be saved, if God eternally decreed you to be saved anyway. It's not good news to hear the Gospel if God eternally decreed that you could never be saved. It's dark, Calvinism is. Very dark. Jesus came to bring life and more abundantly. He came to give the fruit of the Spirit in our hearts and lives. He came to heal. He came to give us victory. And finally an eternal home in his eternal presence.

Peter makes a Problematic Statement? This man doesn't believe God says what he means, nor means what he says. It's not Peter, it's the very Holy Ghost, the third person of the Trinity, God himself who makes this statement. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. You have to have a man to help you Misunderstand this.

it is not only illogical, it is anti-Scripture. I absolutely find it difficult to believe that so many people believe this drivel and heresy. He makes it up. I would be literally afraid to add to God's Holy Word like he does, or did since he's passed. There is not one instance in the Scripture. However, the Holy Ghost has said, Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. You repent first, then believe. Matthew 21:32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. Acts 2:34-39. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Through faith. The gift is Salvation, not the faith. Faith comes by hearing the Word. Leighton Flowers has several videos on this. And Mr. Flowers is much nicer than I am. And again, to believe this you must believe that God sends babies who are not elect to hell. Because they are morally dead and can't believe. Therefore they are in hell now according to his false doctrine.

RC doesn’t realize that he inadvertently removed Christ from the salvation equation. Christ comes after salvation in his system. To be generous to our reformed people, I do think they are trying to highlight that Gods Spirit is the driving force behind all salvation, and with that, technically I agree. If God hadn’t made the first move, I’d have no hope. But since He did, now it’s my responsibility to respond and not harden my heart

  • @clelladams2326
    @clelladams2326 Месяц назад

If you believe that, then you believe that God on purpose created people, human beings, created in his own image for the sole purpose of burning them in hell for ever. Which means by default that God sends babies to hell. If you accused my earthly Father of this to my face you would need help getting up. HIs understanding of Romans 9 is flawed so bad. It's a very sad day in history when Augustine came up with this heresy. If he. Sproul, made it to heaven he now knows how wrong he was. If he wasn't one of the elect :), then he knows also. Becasue you never know if you are elect or not until the day you die.

    1. Believing the good news message of the gospel comes by hearing it preached: Romans 10[17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 2. God has commanded that the good news message of the gospel is to be preached to all people: Mark 16[15] And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Luke 24[47] And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Matthew 24[14] And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 3. If God has pre-condemned millions of people before they were born, then preaching the good news of the gospel to them is commanding them to do what they God will not allow them to do. 4. Therefore, preaching the good news of the gospel to those whom God has pre-condemned constitutes telling them a lie. 5. God cannot lie: Titus 1[2] In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;[3] But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; 6. Therefore, since the good news of the gospel message cannot be a lie, the gospel message according to the calvinist is not the gospel message of the Bible. 7. Since the gospel message of the calvinist is not the gospel message of the Bible, it constitutes an other gospel. 8. The Word of God tells us that those who preach an other gospel are condemned for doing so: Galatians 1[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.[9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 9. Therefore, calvinism is not true and calvinist are condemned by God for preaching an other gospel.

The "doctrine" holds that God creates some people for the sole purpose of tormenting them for all eternity. I challenge you to think of a more evil idea. He could elect them, but he doesn't, because.... he wants to show how mighty and sovereign he is... If I beat up a child to show how strong I was, that'd be good then? It's wild how Calvinists can't see just how terrible their worldview is. As I said, try to come up with a worse one. You can't.

Trying to say man has free will, yet God decreed all things and even decreed that most people will go to hell with no hope, is so anti logical i haven't the words to describe it. Of course man wills to do what God made him do. What a bunch of double speak. His statement of his view of how I view man's free will is not only condescending, but is so anti-Scriptural - how does anyone ever listen to this man? it's sad that people actually believe this drivel. "What father holding his little girl’s hand crossing a busy street would ever let it go? The more she pulls, the tighter he squeezes. There is no way she is going anywhere! Is God any different? The argument that a person can choose hell by rejecting God as a result of 'free' will is in effect saying a little girl has more strength than her dad. God has given man a 'measure' of free will, but certainly not to the degree that He would allow him or her to damn themselves forever in torment. Is God less of a parent than we are (Matt. 7:11)?" -- Gerry Beauchemin, _Hope Beyond Hell,_ 2010, pg. 38 People can resist God for longer than a lifetime, but not forever: "And I [Jesus], when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself." However, this isn't the case, all men are free, and capable of putting their trust In Christ alone for salvation. God gave man free will to either obey Him or disobey Him, to come to Him for salvation or reject His offer of salvation and therefore eternal separation from God…..there’s no such thing as the Elect as the Calvinists have stated. The best example that proves that the idea that man has no free will is false is illustrated in the garden when Adam and Eve disobeyed Gods orders not to eat the fruit from the tree… the knowledge of good and evil. They willfully repeat willfully disobeyed God …in other words they had the free will to disobey God and they did. Therefore the Calvinistic doctrine that man has no free will (as well as all the other 5 points of Calvinism is concerned) is absolutely alien to what the Scriptures teach.

It is an internal change that takes place within us, through the power of His Spirit, before we can truly believe and trust in Him. We may be able to understand the message of the gospel in our own wisdom before He enters, but it is our spirit reborn when we can truly see the depths of His mercy upon us. And it is only with open eyes that we truly repent for we cannot truly understand the measurement of His sacrifice that leads us on a lifelong commitment to Him until He opens our eyes to His truth. That is the miracle of salvation. Those who have been saved have received the greatest miracle - Amazing Grace.

7:11)? We extend increasing freedom to our children as they mature. Too much too soon is disastrous. He knows just how much freedom we need for our development." -- Gerry Beauchemin, _Hope Beyond Hell,_ 2010, pg. 38

Try applying those concepts to that of courtship guys? God giving His creatures a free will to believe in Him does not contradict His sovereignty. That is why the Church is His bride not His concubine. Whosoever come to Me, I will in no way cast out. ❤ you guys😊

Calvin’s Institutes Book 3 chapter 21 says, “2. “We have come into the way of faith,” says Augustine: “let us constantly adhere to it. It leads to the chambers of the king, in which are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. For our Lord Jesus Christ did not speak invidiously to his great and most select disciples when he said, ‘I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now,’ (John 16:12). We must walk, advance, increase, that our hearts may be able to comprehend those things which they cannot now comprehend. “ Given that faith doesn’t operate on the Calvinist view the way it does in every other human endeavor but we are just transported their through election how is it that Augustine (the fountainhead of this imputed faith idea), ask his readers to make conscious effort to maintain faith? Since nothing was done to obtain it why think we can possibly lose what God supernaturally decreed? 😅

I was at that conferance when i was actively involved in maranatha ministries in pullman washington. We all rented a hotel room near the conferance. We would stay up until 2 am praying for each other and studying the word of God. I WANT THIS FIRE OF GOD AGAIN AND DESIRE TO BRING REVIVAL TO COLLEGE CAMPUSES INTERNATIONALLY!!!

I can imagine the scene in Heaven. St Augustine, John Calvin, and all the other Calvinists dining at the banquet table with the Lord while all the barley saved Arminians are scrambling underneath it grabbing the scraps saying,” If we only believed in the TULIP we could be sitting up there!!

If God is God, why did he let Satan come into the Garden? I’ll tell you: because God would be an unfair God if he gave us free choice, but then no choices what choice did they have? God spoke to them, and if they didn’t hear anything else but God, what’s the point of free choice? That’s why he let the serpent in God says something, the serpent says something else, and they believe the serpent and choose to disobey God because God is Holy, they had to separate from God in sin and ever since there’s been a war and the war one day will end when every single person on the planet hears about Jesus has the same opportunity as Adam and Eve.
